AXCIA-CYBER-26 – Batch 4: Drone Forensics & Digital Forensics is part of the AXCIA – Annual Cyber Exercise for Investigating Agencies, jointly organised by the Kerala Police (Cyber Operations Division) and the Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam.

This specialised week focuses on the forensic investigation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs / Drones) and core digital forensic methodologies essential for handling cyber crime, illegal surveillance, contraband delivery using drones, privacy violations, and extraction of evidentiary artefacts from digital devices linked to drone ecosystems.

The programme integrates legal frameworks, drone seizure and evidence handling procedures, forensic acquisition techniques, and hands-on laboratory analysis, supported by real-world investigation scenarios. Participants gain practical exposure to drone data extraction, flight log and GPS analysis, disk and memory forensics, mobile forensics, evidence correlation, and forensic reporting, aligned with Indian cyber laws, admissibility requirements, and law-enforcement SOPs.
